This Privacy Policy explains how TinyNovels ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use `https://tinynovels.net`.

By using TinyNovels, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information such as email, auth provider identifiers, and basic profile data (for example username and avatar URL).
• Content you create in the app, including books, chapters, written reviews and their star ratings, comments, follows, and collections.
• Usage data such as reading progress, interactions with features, and request metadata (for example IP address and user agent) for security and operations.
• Billing and subscription records through Stripe (we do not store full payment card details on TinyNovels servers).

2. How We Use Information

• Provide, maintain, and improve TinyNovels.
• Authenticate users and secure accounts.
• Process subscriptions, billing events, and payouts.
• Support social features like follows, comments, and notifications.
• Detect abuse, fraud, and policy violations.

3. How We Share Information

We share information only as needed to operate TinyNovels, including service providers such as Supabase (database/auth), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (billing), Cloudflare (DNS/storage), and OAuth providers such as Google for login.

Your profile, published stories, reviews, comments, follows, and the books you read with their activity dates are public by default. People who follow you can receive notifications when you post comments. Collections are private unless you make them public; your default Saved collection stays private. Reading session telemetry, private collections, and personal financial statements are not part of your public profile. Sharing a statement image shares the information shown in that image.

4. Data Retention

We retain data for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our terms.

5. Your Choices

• You can edit your profile information from account settings.
• You can request account deletion or data-related help by contacting support.
• You can stop using TinyNovels at any time, subject to outstanding billing obligations.

6. Children's Privacy

TinyNovels is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Changes To This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated policy with a revised "Last updated" date.
